The Public Special Economic Development Zone -ZDEEP- is an extra-customs area, geographically delimited within the national territory. This is constituted as a logistics center for international trade operations, in which industrial, commercial and service companies are installed, which enjoy strategic and fiscal benefits, under the legal certainty provided by ZOLIC in Guatemala.
Having your operations within a ZDEEP brings with it a series of economic and fiscal benefits, among which are:
0% income tax for the first 10 years for new companies.
0% import customs duties temporarily.
0% value added tax for the first 10 years for new companies.
0% import and export taxes on machinery, equipment, inputs and raw materials during the first 10 years for new companies.
